Tuition Reimbursement

Blackberry’s Tuition Reimbursement Program creates new pathways for our team members to pursue their passions while reinforcing our commitment to providing education and development support to our team. Team Members can receive up to $5,250 annually for continuing education

Students will receive up to $5,250 per year to offset the cost of tuition, fees, books and other required educational costs while working at Blackberry Farm, Blackberry Mountain or Blackberry Farm Brewery. The program starts for classes beginning after January 1.

Students pursuing any degreed program*

*at The University of Tennessee-Knoxville, Maryville College, or Pellissippi State Community College

  • Any team members working a minimum of 650 hours during a specific 26-week period beginning on January 1 and ending June 30 are eligible for up to $2,625 which is 50% of the annual reimbursement limit.
  • Any team members working a minimum of 650 hours during a specific 26-week period beginning on July 1 and ending December 29 are eligible for up to $2,625 which is 50% of the annual reimbursement limit.
  • Any employee working greater than 1500 hours in any one year will automatically qualify for full reimbursement, regardless of the individual qualifications set forth above.

Students pursuing certification*

*at The University of Tennessee-Knoxville culinary program, Arbor College School of Massage Licensed Massage Therapist Certificate Program or Roane State Licensed Massage Therapist Certificate Program

  • Any team members working a minimum of 780 hours within six months of graduation date is eligible for up to $2,625 which is 50% of the annual reimbursement limit.
  • Team members working a minimum of 1560 hours within one year of graduation date are eligible to receive the maximum annual reimbursement limit of $5,250.

How To Apply

  1. Once you are hired, complete the program acknowledgement form and course study form that you received during orientation.
  2. Notify your manager that you are participating in the program.
  3. Provide a transcript of grades and original receipts for all items for which you seek reimbursement no later than January 31 of the following year. Students must achieve a grade point average of “B” or better or a “Pass” grade for classes on a Pass/Fail scale for program eligibility.

Reimbursement will be processed and paid within 45 days of the January 31 deadline annually.
